We were a family of 10 who hadn't made any Sunday night dinner plans, so thanks to Del Mar for helping us out! We were told that they would be too busy for 7:30pm, but when we arrived at 8, it was relatively quiet. Anyway, when we did arrive we were given a warm welcome. We were sat in the conservatory sort of part of the restaurant which wasn't quite as warm as the rest of the restaurant, but didn't really have much of an impact in our evening. Anyway anyway, this is where the good news starts! The food from start to finish was incredible. Well beyond my expectations. I mean to give you some idea, we had prawn starters and the kids shared some cheesy garlic bread. We have eaten a lot of places, but these are literally THE best prawns we have ever had. In the mains we had a mixture of seafood linguine, sea bass, chicken parmesan and pizza. All of the food went down like an absolute storm! Everything washed down with a bottle of Pecorino and a few pints of Poretti. It has to be said that we really had average expectations on our evening and it really turned out to be such a great night and couldn't compliment the food any more. We certainly would come back, just because I want more of those prawns!!

Went here just out of season for an evening meal midweek. Service was really friendly and welcoming! We had a main (one from usual menu and one special) and drink each. Food and wine was superb and the price was good for the area. I'd definitely return again to have more courses, zero faults at all!
They were the best! Managed to accommodate us, 6 adults and 7 children! at short notice and were absolutely brilliant! The food was divine! They state they're not a fast foid restaurant but the Italian chef who baked our pizzas tur ed them out like on a conveyor belt! All made from scratch! We had such a wonderful experience there celebrating a friend's special day thank you Del Mar Ristorante Pizzeria we will be back
After coming to the Del Mar for 20 years, I have not been disappointed once. The food is incredible and the staff are always so lovely and caring. We tried their home made tiramisu for the first time this evening and I can’t believe I’ve not tried it before. The Del Mar is a special holiday place for my family and it’s a must do for the last night. Thank you Del Mar! As always, we will be back.

The service was great, really warm and welcoming. The atmosphere had a bit of a romantic vibe—my 9-year-old’s already decided it’s where he’s taking his future girlfriend! And the food? Absolutely delicious.
I've been visiting this restaurant for the best part of 20 years, and it never fails to deliver. The food is fantastic and have always found the staff warm and welcoming. We dined as a party of 12 and could not fault anything. Thank you
